An Objection Response is captured for every negative response your Sailebot receives. Objection responses are those that have responded with a form of "not interested" to one of your Sailebot's emails.
Objections Visibility
Within the Campaign section of Starboard, you can view the objections your Sailebot has received. To view an objection, simply expand the carrot and click view details to expand the email thread.
They will be classified into four categories:
General Disinterest: A response was received indicating the contact is uninterested.
Use Competitor: A response received indicating they are already using another vendor for the product/service.
Lack of Need: A response received indicating this product/service is not needed or used for their business.
Not the Right Time: A response was received indicating they are not ready to move forward due to budget or timing.
Responding to Objections
Objections can range from various degrees of interest. It is important to read through these and follow up on the necessary ones.
To increase the chances of conversion, follow the best practices listed below.
Examples of Good and Poor Practices
Look at the Prospect's Title
Good Practice | If the title is senior enough for your product or service, regardless of their responses, you might still push to understand why they feel the way they do. |
Poor Practice | Disregarding the response based on the response only. |
Look For Clues
Good Practice | Did the prospect indicate why they are not interested? If so, use your excellent skills to show them your differences. |
Poor Practice | Believing the prospect when they say they are all set at the moment. |
Note: When a Sailebot uncovers an Objection, that contact is removed from receiving outreach; however, other contacts at the company are still engaged. If you convert an Objection and wish to have the company removed from receiving outreach, you will want to remove the company from our companies tab within your campaign.
