Starboard Terms Explained

Starboard Roles

The roles of Starboard define the management level of the platform.

  • Captain: A Captain manages the fleet of Sailebots, overseeing performance at a high and granular level.

  • Sailer: A Sailer manages their individual Sailebot, overseeing its performance and taking action on all responses.

Starboard

Manage your Sailebot(s) by using Starboard, the user management platform, to view performance metrics and make edits/updates to your active Sailebots.

  • Captain's Dashboard: Use the Captain's Dashboard to view performance metrics and insights for your fleet.

  • Sailer's Dashboard: Use the Sailer's Dashboard to view all performance metrics and insights for your Sailebot.

Digital Labor

Any prospecting tasks that your Sailebot automated.

Research

  • Sourcing Contacts: Sailebot is finding contacts that fit your ICP.

  • Sourcing News Articles: Sailebot is searching news sources for recent articles to provide an ice-breaker.

Engagement

  • Generate Emails: Sailebot is generating emails based on your approved content.

  • Engaging Contacts: Sailebot is sending emails uniquely based on the contact and response.

  • Reading Emails: Sailebot is reading responses.

  • Delivering Opportunities: Sailebot delivers opportunities back to Starboard and your CRM.

Data Entry

  • Generate Emails: To ensure every email is unique, Sailebot inputs data into emails based on the contact and company.

  • Engaging Contacts Strategically: Sailebot may use custom fields to engage with contacts uniquely.

  • Sourcing LinkedIn profiles: Sailebot searches for contact LinkedIn profiles to provide along with the response.

Follow Up

  • Following up with contacts: Sailebot follows up with contacts based on the response received.

Responses

General

  • Sailebot: Sailebot is an all-in-one prospecting automation tool that teams deploy to reduce prospecting time and deliver unlimited leads and labor.

  • Content: Content allows you to view your Sailebot emails and make edits if needed.

  • Companies: Companies are all the companies your Sailebot is targeting.

  • Excluded Companies:Β Companies that your Sailebot has tried to engage but were included on an exclusion list you provided, or a company was removed from the Sailebot based on their response.

  • Targeting: Targeting shows your Sailebots ICP.

  • Unsubscribe: Shares visibility into the contacts that have chosen to unsubscribe from your Sailebot's outreach.
