Best Practices: Nurture Responses

Best practices for following up on Nurture Responses.

Updated over 3 months ago

Nurture Responses are conversations your Sailebot has had with contacts that have led to a Developing Response but have never received a response back and gone cold. Below is a quick refresher on what a Developing Response is.

Example #1 - The Referral

Sailebot (Courtney)

"Hi Alex,

Is Company Name experiencing issues related to ABC at CompanyName? We had the same problems and invented XYZ to solve this issue.

Worth a discussion?"

Prospect (Alex)

"Hi Courtney,

Please reach out to Dana who is in charge of overseeing this on our team."

Sailebot (Courtney)

Hi Dana,

Courtney mentioned I should reach out to you regarding my question. Do you have time to chat next week?

What is a Nurture Response?

When a contact responds to your Sailebot, either by making a referral or requesting future follow-up, the interaction triggers action from your Sailebot, marking it as a Developing Response.

If a referral is made, your Sailebot thanks the referrer for the introduction and then follows up with the contact it was referred to.

If the contact requests that the Sailebot follow up in the future, your Sailebot notes the follow-up date requested and then reaches out on that date.

Your Sailebot will follow up with four email attempts to convert the response from Developing to an AiQL in both situations.

If the contact fails to respond to your Sailebot after four email attempts, the interaction transitions into a Nurture Response. At this point, your Sailebot discontinues further follow-up.

Utilizing Nurture Responses

When a Developing Response transitions into a Nurture Response, it's up to you to take charge of the prospecting process.

These responses have grown cold, prompting you to use your expert skills to reignite interest. For instance, consider sending a LinkedIn connection request, placing a phone call, or incorporating their email address into a drip campaign.
