Sailebot Warm-Up and Ramp-Up Process

Below is a visual representation of the Sailebot Warm-Up and Ramp-Up Process.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Overview:

Warm-up is the process of preparing Sailebots for optimal email deliverability and inbox placement. This occurs before launch to build trust and reputation with major ESPs. Ramp-up happens post-launch, where the sending volume gradually increases to reach full capacity.

Warming Timeline:

  1. Pre-Onboarding (1 Month):

    1. Pseudo emails are exchanged between Sailebots to simulate real email traffic.

    2. Messages are read, responded to, and marked as important to build trust and reputation.

    3. This communication is conducted through marketing or subdomain addresses, ensuring separation from primary domains and enhancing deliverability.

  2. Post-Onboarding (2 Weeks):

    1. Continued communication between Sailebots to maintain engagement and reputation.

  3. Sailebot Launch:

    1. Begins sending a handful number of emails per day.

    2. Gradually increases volume over the course of 1 month to full capacity.

  4. Ongoing Monitoring:

    1. Sailebots continuously test mailbox health using our proprietary scoring system.

    2. If domain scores drop, the system automatically adjusts sending patterns and may introduce pre-warmed subdomains or marketing domains to maintain optimal deliverability.

Why This Matters:

  • Improved Inbox Placement: Consistent engagement builds trust with major ESPs.

  • Domain Health Protection: Active monitoring prevents blacklisting and maintains sender reputation.

  • Adaptive Sending: Automatic adjustments ensure maximum deliverability even if domain reputation changes.
